"Wiki" is a Hawaiian word for "fast".


A wiki is a collection of web pages designed to enable anyone who accesses it to contribute content. Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites. For example, the collaborative encyclopedia Wikipedia is one of the best-known wikis. (source: Wikipedia)


Using the Wiki

The wiki has been established as an easy means of sharing ideas and information. Visitors can view all pages using the navigation links, but only members can contribute (post or comment) content to the site. Member contributions are immediate - in other words, there is no time delay. The project team will endeavor to post project activities and information as well as helpful resources and recommended reading as the project progresses. Please check in frequently to make full use of this communication tool.

ACCESS

This wiki is access-controlled, which means that anyone can read it, but in order to contribute to it, you must be an “approved” member. This will help us focus participation on the MPHS community of students, teachers, staff, parents and community members (as opposed to allowing comments from outsiders including potential hackers).

There are several ways to become an “approved” member/contributor to the MPHS project wiki. If you have not already received an "Invitation" via e-mail, you can request membership. Click here for Instructions. REMEMBER: you must be a member of the MPHS wikispace to post comments and upload files.
